Bollywood’s Mr. Blockbuster, Sajid Nadiadwala is planning very big for his forthcoming mega venture Kambakkht Ishq which is also the most awaited release of 2009, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor along with the who’s who of Hollywood right from Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh. The movie is being directed by Sabir Khan. The USP of Sajid Nadiadwala movies has always been its extraordinary music and this time he is leaving no stone unturned to carry on this tradition.A close source reveals ‘Sajid is currently planning to shoot a special song for his forthcoming venture Kambakkht Ishq on a rs. of 2 crore - budget set at Film city in Mumbai. Not only this, he has even planned to have UK fusion band RDB participation in the filming of the song’. Sajid is now planning a 150 second theatrical trailer for Kambakkht Ishq. The trailer is yet to be released in cinemas but those who have seen the rushes were bowled over by its impact. The offices of both Nadiadwala Grandson and Entertainment and Eros were flooded with overnight offers for almost all territories. A Bihar distributor has already offered rs 1 crore to be the the official distributor of the film in the territory. A top distributor who had shut shop sometime back, has taken such a fancy to the film that he wants to re-start his distribution office and has offered a record price too. As he’s very that movie is going to break all the box-office record till date. A major and exclusive publicity blitz is being planned where Akshay Kumar will meet Sylvester Stallone in India. Slumdog Millionaire may have taken Bollywood to Hollywood, but for the first time, Sajid Nadiadwala is bringing Hollywood to Bollywood. In a very high profile pairing and riding high on the box office, Kareena Kapoor has been paired opposite Box office King Akshay Kumar in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next blockbuster KAMBAKTH ISHQ. The film will be directed by Sabir Khan.The shooting of Kambakht Ishq started in January 2008. Few days back Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had a heated argument on the sets of Kambakht Ishq while shooting for the movie along with Sylvester Stallone. Apparently Kareena had to kiss Sylvester Stallone on the cheeks and it took her 3 takes to get the scene right (lucky sly). And our Saif was at the film shoot. Now how could he be watching all this without objecting? He had an argument over this with Kareena and Kareena was heard shouting back at him saying if he did not like all this then he shouldn’t be coming to watch her shoot. Enjoy Kareena & Akshay Shoot for Kambakht Ishq in Venice….

Sajid Nadiadwala who is also running high after the humongous hit HEY BABYY, seems quite ecstatic about Kareena for KAMBAKTH ISHQ. Says Sajid, "My director Sabir and I both saw JAB WE MET together and absolutely loved it. Her transition from an extroverted character and a matured character was fantastic. It was a difficult role, and she was exemplary." Sajid Adds, "KAMBAKTH ISHQ is a romantic drama with comedy in it... Kareena is working for the first time with our banner and I am excited about it. She would suit the role perfectly. In fact we have had a 100% golden jubilee hits record with her sister Karishma in JEET and JUDWAA. Kareena's dad Randhir has worked with our banner Nadiadwala Grandsons in many films including HAATH KI SAFAI and RAMPUR KA LAKSHMAN. When questioned about Kareena being choosy and about her scripts and his 3 months long lookout for the heroine to suit the role, Sajid laughed, "I don't make action films but women-centric films where the girl's role is pivotal to the story. All the boys and girls who have acted in my films have done well. HEYY BABYY! has grossed 100 in India in five weeks." Infact when I approached Kareena, She said that she didn't want to hear the script, but just wanted to start shooting. That was her confidence on our banner. The shooting of KAMBAKTH ISHQ is slated to begin from January 2008 with 9 actors from Hollywood, which will be shot in exotic locales of Los Angeles. Adds Sajid, "It will be an international love story on a huge scale."
