Aayush Sharma is no longer a part of Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali
Salman Khan has mentored a lot of newcomers over the years, Aayush Sharma being one of them. The young actor, who entered showbiz with Salman Khan Films’ LoveYatri (2018), was previously set to play a significant part in Khan’s upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
However, after the success of Antim (2021), Aayush Sharma does not want to do the character roles in big films. And his mentor, Salman Khan feels the same. According to a source, Zaheer Iqbal will still be part of the film, who is another protege of Salman.
The source said, “After being appreciated in Antim, Aayush has taken this decision to not take up character roles in big films. Salman too feels the same, as the track of Aayush in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali was not a significant one. He was to play the role of Salman's younger brother, though the entire film revolved around Salman's character.”
“Two more actors will come on board to play key roles in this Farhad Samji directed action comedy. The casting work is currently going on in full swing as the movie will take off by the end of February,” the source further added.
Other than Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, and Venkatesh will also be seen essaying important roles in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
