The actor, who is at now taking a holiday abroad, denies the rumours, claiming to be the "most apolitical person on the planet."
While some could surmise that his mother Jaya Bachchan's political activism contributed to the rumours, Abhishek adamantly states that his concentration is on his acting career. He previously acknowledged his appreciation for the community's backing and sense of protection, reiterating his pride in being his father's son.
