'Adipurush,' a movie by Om Raut, has become a hit with audiences but not in a nice manner, though. The Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starring film is drawing harsh criticism from both the general public and critics for a variety of reasons.

The mythical drama's Vibhishan, played by actor Siddhant Karnick, has now come out in favour of the movie. In an interview, he claimed that in order for the current generation to grasp Hindu mythology more fully, it was high time we tried to merge 'pop culture' with it.

In an interview, Siddhant Karnick said that he has observed his nephews and even some of his adult acquaintances idolising and dressing as superheroes.

He continued that our Hindu mythology is also rife with such 'superheroes and mythological gods.' But because their stories and pictures belong in an artistic format, these divine figures are frequently lost. And Siddhant Karnick wanted to use popular culture to bridge that gap.

Adipurush’s Vibhishan explained, “We need to use pop culture smartly so we can pass on the stories of our gods to the next generation of children, show them that our gods are cooler and far more layered than fictional superheroes… it's time we bring focus to our own gods and bring these stories in a language of superheroes that today's children are used to.”

In addition, Siddhant Karnick remembers seeing a 10-year-old boy 'having the time of his life' during Adipurush's closing credits. At that point, he knew that watching the movie would help students become familiar with other epics and stories like it.

'Adipurush' has drawn notice as a result of harsh criticism from numerous well-known actors from film and television. It stars Prabhas. 'Adipurush's disaster was caused by a number of elements, such as the film's subpar visual effects and graphics, distortions of the Ramayana epic, which the director claimed to have drawn inspiration from, and Manoj Muntashir's rendering of everyday conversation. 'Adipurush' has been seeing a steady fall throughout the days even if the filmmakers changed the dialogue.

Prabhas' expectations for his upcoming movie 'Salaar' are expected to be high in light of the catastrophic reception to 'Adipurush.' 'Salaar,' a Telugu-language actioner directed by KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel, is scheduled to premiere on September 28, 2023. In addition, Prabhas appears in Nag Ashwin's 'Project K,' which also stars Deepika Padukone.
