Being an introvert, Ajay revealed that it is difficult for him to open up to others. Though this is one trait that he does not like about himself. Ajay still believes in solving his problems on his own.

While he admits that therapy is indeed the best way to opt for if one's mental health is suffering, it didn't work out for him. Nevertheless, Ajay adds that he is strong-minded and has battled his issues single-handedly.

On the work front, Amit Sharma and Boney Kapoor have cast Ajay Devgn to play football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in their pan-India sports magnum opus Maidaan, which is releasing on 3 June 2022.

This will be followed by Devgn's special appearance in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus which stars Ranveer Singh. Ajay also has a role in Indra Kumar's slice-of-life comedy Thank God with Sidharth Malhotra. Both the films are set for cinematic release in July 2022.
