Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor clicked in Varanasi while filming for Brahmastra on a boat
Movie fans have been anticipating the release of the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra since director Ayan Mukerji announced the date. Bhatt and Kapoor have resumed filming for their long-awaited flick. On Tuesday, the two were spotted on the Ganga's ghats.
In a video posted by a fan account, the duo was seen at the Varanasi ghat. Alia was seen dressed in a long yellow dress whereas Ranbir donned a white t-shirt, navy blue jeans and a red shirt.
The pictures of the team and crew, as well as Alia and Ranbir, on a boat ride are now surfacing on the Internet. Ayan Mukerji, best known for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) is the director of Brahmastra. Aside from Alia and Ranbir, the film also has major performances from Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Dimple Kapadia. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will share the screen space together for the first time in this film.
According to claims circulating on major entertainment portals, the Brahmastra crew will be in the city for four days. They're shooting a few key scenes as well as a big song. Ayan has already gone to Varanasi to prepare for the filming. They had earlier filmed in Varanasi too.
On September 9, 2022, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva will be released in theatres in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The second and third parts will be released in 2024 and 2026, respectively.
