Alia Bhatt clarifies rumors about Jee Le Zaraa getting shelved and says, ‘Ain’t letting this film go’
Nearly a year has passed since Farhan Akhtar revealed that Jee Le Zaraa will be his next film to direct. The director-actor scored a casting coup by securing Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in the key roles of this movie with an all-female cast. Fans' patience has occasionally been tried since the movie was announced for a variety of factors. According to rumors, it was reported that the movie has been temporarily shelved or put on hold.
In her most recent media appearance, Alia Bhatt dispelled all the rumors that the movie is actually occurring, despite there having been numerous rounds of conjecture to that effect. The actress revealed, “IT'S HAPPENING!!... We will go on floors next year. Of course, we can not go on the floor this year (Indicating her pregnancy). We ain't letting that film go. We are fighting for it and we are all too excited about it. It's going to be quite massive and we can't wait.”
In the meantime, Jee Le Zaraa is getting a lot of attention, and this collaboration is reportedly one of the biggest ones ever. For a project as significant and as promising as Jee Le Zaraa, the producers have secured the participation of three remarkable actresses. Meanwhile, Netflix’s Darlings starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew will premiere on August 5. Alia also has Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The flick is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9.
