There is no denying the fact that Amitabh Bachchan is a true legend. He has gifted Indian cinema with some classic hits which are still cult favourites. The veteran actor interestingly has his own blog. On his blog, he frequently shares amusing anecdotes. He recently described an incident in which a fan declined to watch Muqaddar ka Sikandar (1978) due to an unfortunate incident that had happened to him during the film's screening.

Sharing the incident, Big B said that the person came from a low-income family with little resources, but he still wanted to watch Muqaddar ka Sikandar, so he found a way to get Rs.10 and travelled far to a theatre. He stood in the line with the Rs.10/- for hours and when it was his turn at the box office window, there was a rush for tickets and a stampede of the audience, which caused mayhem and the arrival of the police.

Big B added that he endured "lathi charge" and was knocked to the ground, suffering a head injury, and having lost his 10/- in the melee. He vowed that day never to watch that film again, and that he would only do so if and when the leading man of the movie sat by his side and they watched it together. It has now been more than 20 years, and he has still kept his promise.

“I gave him his lost ₹10/-, with an interest of 10/- and assured him that one day perhaps we could see the film together," concluded the legendary actor.
