In the follow-up to Ayushmann Khurrana's 2020 movie Dream Girl, Ananya Panday will star. The stars used social media to tease the movie with a humorous video and announce its release date. Originally scheduled for release on June 29, 2023, the movie was reportedly postponed by Ekta Kapoor at Sajid Nadiadwala's request so that it wouldn't coincide with the release of SatyaPrem Ki Katha.
