For the uninitiated, Deepika Padukone learned acting for three months at Anupam Kher’s academy. Later, she collaborated with Anupam on the 2011 film Desi Boyz, in which he played her father.
Meanwhile, the Pathaan actress will attend the 75th Cannes Film Festival in France. She'll be on the jury this year, along with French actor Vincent Lindon, who will serve as the president of the panel. The jury will choose the winners for the Palme d'Or awards ceremony, which will take place on May 28 in Cannes.
