Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who is known for speaking out against animal cruelty, recently praised a man from Delhi for rescuing a puppy dog. The Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) actress took to Instagram stories to share a heartwarming video of the man who is seen caring for the injured stray in a video, despite being termed as “pagal” (crazy)” for being nice to it.

The man, on the other hand, proceeded to defend the pet and asked everyone to treat all living things with respect. Anushka shared the video and praised the man's spirit, writing, “Pagal toh woh hain jo insaniyat nahi samjhein. Aap toh...clap and hearts emoji. (Those who don't understand humanity, they are mad.)"

This is not the first time the actor has expressed her love for animals; in the past, she has expressed her love for animals while seeking harsh punishment for cruelty against innocent souls.

Meanwhile, Anushka recently made headlines when she announced that she has begun filming for her upcoming film, Chakda 'Xpress. She was spotted at the ground on Friday as she began the net practice to put herself in the shoes of a female cricketer. Anushka will play a role based on former Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the Netflix film.
