Archana Puran Singh reveals how 7 years of age gap with her husband didn’t affect their marriage
Archana Puran Singh and actor Parmeet Sethi have been blissfully married for 30 years. The veteran of The Kapil Sharma Show is seven years older than her spouse, Parmeet Sethi, but that has never been an issue.
When asked about their age gap and relationship, Archana said that the two have always been there for each other through thick and thin and that the age gap has never been an issue. Though their families were first alarmed, they eventually came to terms with the situation.
In a recent interview, the Kuch Kuch Hota (1998) Hai actress said, “Before getting married to Parmeet in 1992, we were in a relationship for four years and although we discussed the age gap, we never felt that we should not be with each other because of that. When we finally took the plunge, we realised that we were too much in love with each other to think of the age gap.”
Archana revealed when asked about their families' concerns, “Though our families had reservations and my family even told me to think twice about getting married to someone younger, I never had any doubt in my mind. And today, after 30 years and two sons, we are still a couple who have faced the ups and downs of life together without the age factor ever coming into focus.”
Archana will next be seen as a judge on India's Laughter Champion alongside Shekhar Suman.
