Actress Sonakshi Sinha took to her Instagram story and lashed out at people who burst firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali. She shared a video from her balcony to assert the poor air quality after the festival.

Over the years, several Bollywood celebs have come forward to encourage Diwali without firecrackers. Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza are a few to name. However, these celebs are often trolled for their 'hypocrisy' for choosing to speak about the environment only around Diwali festivals while making poor choices around the year.
On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in the 2022 film 'Double XL'. Her upcoming release is 'Kakuda', which is a horror-comedy movie. She is also a part of Bollywood's highly anticipated project 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
