Ayan Mukerji opens up on shooting Brahmastra 2 and 3; reveals he was angry with Ranbir Kapoor for THIS reason
Touted be a mythological thriller, Brahmastra is one of the most talked about films of 2022. Everyone knows that the film has been very special for Ayan Mukerji as it’s his 'dream' project. Amidst the trailer launch, Ayan engaged in a conversation with the media where he talked about the other two parts of the trilogy.
Speaking about the second and third parts of this franchise, Ayan said, “The entire trilogy will tell the same story but the next movies will introduce new characters and bring new perspectives to the Brahmastra story."
He also shared an interesting anecdote, where he revealed getting angry with Ranbir Kapoor for starting the shoot of Sanju. “I was happy that he was working with Raju Hirani but what about my project? But in hindsight, I'm glad Ranbir chose to work on Sanju because, a few years later, Sanju was shot, edited, and ready for release and my pre-production hadn't even been completed. Had Ranbir waited for me, it would've been too long a wait,” added Ayan.
Meanwhile, Brahmastra’s trailer has taken the internet by storm. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s chemistry, the amazing VFX, and the magnum opus cast have won the hearts of the fans.
