Ayushmann Khurrana, Raaj Shaandilyaa & Ekta Kapoor reteam for Dream Girl 2
Dream Girl (2019), starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha in lead roles, is getting a sequel. The film, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor, was praised for its comedy, performances, and music. It was Khurrana’s biggest hit of 2019, when he was on a roll with back-to-back hits. It grossed a whopping ₹142.26 crore.
According to a reliable source, “Dream Girl stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Ekta Kapoor, and Raaj are all excited to see the film become a franchise. The crew has been working on the script for quite some time, and it has now been completed. Pre-production work has begun, and the film is scheduled to begin shooting in June 2022.”
Ayushmann Khurrana has a number of exciting projects in his pocket. He will next be seen in Anek, Doctor G, and An Action Hero. Anek, a sociopolitical thriller directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the brands of T-Series and Benaras Team Works, releases on 13th May, 2022.
