Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor talks about her Bollywood debut 1920: Horrors of The Heart
Television actress Avika Gor has come a long way from playing Anandi in Balika Vadhu (2008) to playing Roli in Sasural Simar Ka (2011) and subsequently featuring in Khatron Ke Khiladi. With 1920: Horrors Of The Heart by Vikram Bhatt, she is finally set to make her Bollywood debut.
Avika is celebrating her birthday today, i.e. 30th June. When questioned about her birthday, Gor said that it is particularly special for her because she is currently filming her debut Bollywood movie, 1920: Horrors Of The Heart. She said, “I am shooting for my Bollywood movie this year and around my birthday. I think I'm the luckiest. Also, on the set, I have made some amazing friends including Krishna Bhatt, Arhavirr Singh and Adhiraj Singh. I think these are all amazing people.”
She added further, “I'm absolutely in love with my team there, especially these three people. They have just made my life so much better in the last few months that I have known them. So, I'm looking forward to celebrating my birthday with them and around them. I'm very happy that this is happening around my birthday. It makes me feel like the best birthday gift I could ever get.”
Mahesh Bhatt wrote the screenplay and Krishna Bhatt is the director of 1920: Horrors Of The Heart. Through a post on social media, the Bhatt siblings revealed their association with Avika.
