Brahmastra: Karan Johar unveils Amitabh Bachchan's ferocious role as Guru
The makers of Brahmastra stated a few days ago that the trailer for the much-awaited film will be unveiled on June 15. The high-profile film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in prominent roles and is set to arrive in cinemas on September 9, 2022.
Taking to Instagram, filmmaker Karan Johar on Thursday shared the first look poster for Amitabh Bachchan's character Guru in the forthcoming trilogy drama. In the first-look poster, the veteran actor sported fierce expressions while wielding a sword.
Brahmastra is a three-part fantasy epic directed by Ayan Mukerji. In the film, Ranbir will play Shiva, and Alia Bhatt will play Isha, who will be his love interest. Amitabh Bachchan will play Professor Arvind Chaturvedi. Nagarjuna, on the other hand, will play archaeologist Ajay Vashisht. The film's antagonist, Damayanti, will be played by Mouni Roy. Brahmastra is scheduled to release on September 9.
Fans are waiting for the release of Brahmastra with bated breath. Ranbir Kapoor, who was last seen in Sanju, will grace the silver screen after a long gap of four years. The film also marks his first on-screen association with his wife Alia Bhatt.
