Popular Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on Sunday. The tragic and unfortunate incident took place just a day after the Punjab Police withdrew the security of 424 people, including that of Sidhu.

Vicky Kaushal was one of the first celebs who expressed shock at the incident. Taking to his Instagram handle, Vicky expressed grief on the death of Sidhu Moose Wala and wrote, “Dil da nai maada”.

Shehnaaz Gill also wrote on Twitter "Kise da jawaan dhee ya putt es duniya toh chala jaave, es toh vadda dukh koi nhi ho sakda duniya te. Waheguruji mehar kareyo #sidhumoosewala" to express grief over Moose Wala's demise.

Kedarnath (2028) actress Sara Ali Khan also posted the late singer's picture on her Instagram story and wrote, "RIP Deeply saddened by this tragic death! Your legendary music will live on."

Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of Sidhu Moose Wala. He captioned it as “Dil da ni mada…” followed by a heartbroken emoji.

Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma also took to Twitter and wrote, "Satnam shri waheguru very shocking n very sad, a great artist n a wonderful human being, may god give the strengths to his family #sidhumoosewala."

Other celebs that condoled the shocking incident and expressed grief at the demise of the Punjabi singer include Ajay Devgn, Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Bharti Singh, Mika Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, and Karan Kundra.
