Dasvi: Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam starrer to drop its trailer on 23rd March, Amitabh Bachchan says, “Jaldi Jaldi aao”
Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dasvi is creating buzz on the Internet since its announcement. The actor recently announced the trailer date of the much awaited flick on his social media. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur and tells the story of a criminal in prison who wishes to take his class 10th board examinations from within the prison walls. Following the release of the first look and teaser, Abhishek revealed that the trailer will be released on March 23, i.e. tomorrow. He also unveiled a poster, which made Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan very ecstatic.
Sharing the poster on his social media handle, the Bol Bachchan (2012) actor wrote the caption, "Kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab, sabka ek hi sawaal, #Dasvi ka trailer aayega kab? #DasviTrailer out on 23rd March!"
Abhishek was seen in the poster sitting on a throne-like seat in a prison. The actor was dressed casually in a kurta pyjamas, a jacket, a turban, and stylish sunglasses. Amitabh Bachchan was overjoyed when he saw the poster and asked his son to release the trailer as soon as possible. Big B commented, "Jaldi jaldi laao जल्दी जल्दी लाओ." Abhishek Bachchan’s sister Shweta Bachchan dropped heart eyes emoticons on the post.
Dasvi, directed by Tushar Jalota and written by Ritesh Shah, marks Tushar Jalota's directorial debut. In the film, Abhishek Bachchan plays Ganga Ram Chaudhary, and Yami Gautam plays Jyoti Deswal, a cop. Nimrat Kaur, on the other hand, will be seen playing a politician in the film.
