Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's much-awaited wedding is finally happening and there's excitement all around- the venue, dates, marriage function, guests, wedding attires- almost everything is making news. The pre-wedding festivities kicked off today in Mumbai.

As per reports, Alia has chosen to be a Sabyasachi bride. She will be wearing a pink Sabyasachi lehenga complemented by a customised dupatta designed by Manish Malhotra. It is also being said that Ranbir and Alia’s wedding will be pastel themed.

While we are still guessing as to how dreamy Alia Bhatt will look on her Big Day, here's a quick look at some of her on-screen bridal wear avatars through the years:

2 States (2014):

As a South Indian bride, Alia's Ananya Swaminathan in 2 States was dressed in a rich and vibrant Kancheepuram silk saree with a thick zari border. The red of the saree was contrasted by delicate mogra flowers in her hair. She wore polki necklace and earrings, besides a south-style kamarband, gold coin necklace, maang tikka, polki jhumkas and glass bangles.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya (2017):

In the climax sequence of the comedy entertainer, Alia was dressed as a bride in a gold and fuschia pink lehenga by Manish Malhotra. It was embellished with tiny crystal sequin designs. The look was completed with red bangles, chandbaalis and a maangtika.

Raazi (2019):

As a Kashmiri bride, Alia's Sehmat in Raazi wore a brocade sharara set with a sea green tulle dupatta embroidered with flowers and finished with a deep red gota patti border. Her soft smokey eye makeup and red lips made appropriate picks for a bride, but didn't overshadow her note-worthy jewellery pieces including the nath or nose ring.

Kalank (2019):

In Kalank, Alia played Roop, a Rajasthani girl who is married to her best friend's husband (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor). For the wedding scene, royal aesthetic were at play as Alia was seen wearing a heavily embroidered scarlet red Poshak. It was teamed up with a sheer ghunghat that highlighted her heavy gold jewellery.
