Deepika Padukone showers her love on Abhishek Bachchan after getting a mention in the film
On Wednesday, Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur released the trailer for their upcoming film Dasvi. Many people praised the trailer for teasing an intriguing storyline, but what drew them recognition was a reference to Deepika Padukone in it. Deepika has now responded to this on her Instagram Stories.
In the Dasvi trailer, Abhishek's character Ganga Ram Chaudhary is requested to transform a sentence into a passive voice. He is given the sentence, "Ranveer loves Deepika," upon which Abhishek responds, "Everyone loves Deepika." Deepika responded by posting the Dasvi teaser on her Instagram Stories and writing, "Thank you for your support, Dasvi team. I wish you all the best."

Amitabh Bachchan praised Abhishek on social networks shortly after the trailer debuted. "The Pride of a Father.. in film after film he surprises all with the incredible portrayal of totally different characters.. it's PHENOMENAL to be able to do that so successfully!!!"
Abhishek and Deepika have previously collaborated on two movies: Ashutosh Gowarikar's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey in 2010 and Farah Khan's Happy New Year in 2014.
Dasvi, directed by Tushar Jalota, will be available on Netflix India on April 7. Dinesh Vijan produces it through his companies Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Bake My Cake Films.
