Undoubtedly, Prabhas is one of the most popular Indian actors right now. No matter how awful the film is, his presence guarantees large audiences, at least in the first few days after release. Owing to this, his future release Adipurush was able to strike a huge deal involving digital rights.

For the uninitiated, the actor hasn't had much success since Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017). His Saaho (2019) made a fortune at the box office, but due to bad word-of-mouth, it didn't live up to its potential. And the more silence we can muster over Radhe Shyam (2022), the better. After a strong beginning, the epic romance drama, which also starred Pooja Hegde, sank tragically and ended up becoming one of the biggest flops.

Adipurush, Salaar, Project K, and Spirit, all featuring Prabhas, are carrying a significant amount of pre-release hype despite back-to-back major underperformers. It is said to have made his very next release a major deal. It has been reported that Netflix paid a startling 250 crores for the digital rights to the Om Raut film. All linguistic rights are included in this.

Adipurush, which is slated to release on January 12th 2023, will be Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's debut collaborative project. Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan also star in key roles. The film, which is one of the most expensive Indian productions, is based on the Indian epic Ramayana.
