The teaser of the upcoming film ‘Jogi’ was recently released and it is a heartfelt tale. The film is led by Diljit Dosanjh who relays the tale of a young Sikh who is trapped in the 1984 Sikh riots. The riot broke out in Delhi and endeavoured several innocent people. The film narrates Jogi’s courage and valour amid such a crisis.

The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The teaser has shown an insight into the story of the film and has left fans shocked. It showed a happy world where the lead Jogi lived with his family and how hell broke loose with the riots in Delhi. The lead in a scene is seen vowing to his loved ones that he will protect them come what may. Netflix shared the trailer with the caption "Dekhiye Jogi ka haunsla, Jogi ki himmat, aur Jogi ki dosti. Jogi, streams on 16th September, only on Netflix."

The film will stream on the OTT platform in September. In a recent interview, Diljit shared, "The year of my birth is 1984 as well. I have grown up hearing about real-life experiences and stories about the riots and the era. In fact, I had even made a Punjabi film, Punjab 1984, sometime back, which won a National Film Award as well. So, the subject is really important for me, and Ali sir has picked the right story."
