Pankaj Tripathi said he worked in the 'Lakshay' directed by Farhan Akhtar. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Boman Irani and Anuja Bedi played supporting roles in the film.
Pankaj said that he was cast for the role of Subedar Kuldeep Singh, and he visited Leh-Ladakh first for its shooting. He was in Patna before the release of the film. He also mentioned that news was published at that time, like Lakshya me dikhega Bihar ka Laal was with his photo.

He mentioned that he went with his wife to watch the film. The entire film ended, and he was not anywhere in the film. He felt pressured. Because the news was already spread, and he was not in the film's final cut. He said that we work in a medium that has fake everything from mother to relations. Therefore people thought of me as a liar. But he mentions that he always tries to make it feel real.
