Ayushmann Khurrana, Raaj Shaandilyaa, and Ekta Kapoor regrouped for the highly anticipated Dream Girl 2 after the comedy film's 2019 predecessor, Dream Girl, had a positive reception. The first revealed that Ananya Panday had joined the cast of this eagerly anticipated sequel. Then, it was recently revealed that Ekta had moved Dream Girl 2's release date from June 29 to June 23 at the request of her friend and fellow filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, who asked her not to release the movie on the same day as his upcoming release, SatyaPrem Ki Katha, which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.

Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, has received a fresh update.

According to a person with firsthand knowledge of the production, the film will now be released on July 7, 2023. Soon, a formal announcement will be made. This Raaj Shaandilyaa-directed movie is presently shooting, and Annu Kapoor and Abhishek Banerjee are also taking part. Nushratt Bharuccha and Ayushmann appeared in the first part of Dream Girl as well.

Ayushmann Khurrana is busy promoting An Action Hero.

Additionally, Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat's upcoming film, An Action Hero, is directed by Anirudh Iyer. The actor spoke candidly about the effect of social media on popularity in a recent interview. "Of course, the star's mystery will disappear if they utilize social media, but for me, it works since I am that relatable man. I first worked as a radio host, stage performer, and television anchor. I've always valued being close to the ground and the lowest common denominator. So, it works for me if I exhibit a particular side of myself on social media since I have developed a career.

Because I am the man who has made a career out of being the guy next door, who is relatable. Of course, I'm leaving the genre after ten years, but it doesn't alter who I am at my core. Since that describes me, I must be approachable," Ayushmann had said.
