Ek Villain Return song: T-Series revealed the new heartbreak number starring Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani, and John Abraham
T-Series released a brand-new song from Ek Villain Returns on Friday. Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham cry in the love ballad Dil for their respective partners Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani. The song keeps the audience guessing as to who the true antagonist in the movie is.
The musical pair Kaushik-Guddu composed the song Dil, which was sung by Raghav Chaitanya. In contrast to T-Series, who produced the song, Kunaal Vermaa wrote the lyrics for it.
The song's music video opened with Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria having fun and being passionate in their relationship before cutting to John Abraham and Disha Patani just starting out in their relationship. Near the end of the song, the mood of the song changes to a darker one. Tara Sutaria can be seen crying and acting afraid in many scenes, and in one, Arjun weeps while giving her a hug. Throughout several parts of the song, John Abraham is also seen sobbing over Disha.
During the trailer launch of the film, John revealed the reason for choosing the film. He said, “I loved the script when I heard it for the first time. And when I met Ekta Kapoor (co-producer) and Mohit in the office, I was totally floored. It was unbelievable, and Mohit executed it even better”
Helmed by Mohit Suri, the film is set to hit theatres on July 29.
