February saw the release of some of the biggest films including Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada and Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee. While both the films turned out to be major flops at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan which was released at the end of January managed to continue its reign in February too. And now March is here, the month of colors, and with it, we are about to witness some major releases this month. Here’s a list of new flicks which will hit the theatres this month!

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

Release Date: March 8

This romantic comedy, a vivacious new twist on the genre, promises sizzling chemistry between the lead stars. Ranbir and Shraddha, who are portrayed as people who fall in love easily but find it tough to split up, get into a number of ludicrous situations that will test their patience. Helmed by popular filmmaker, Luv Ranjan, the film will also see Boney Kapoor make his acting debut alongside the lead characters. Dimple Kapadia and Anubhav Bassi play crucial roles in this romantic comedy.

Bholaa

Release Date: March 30

The most anticipated film of the year, Bhola, starring Ajay Devgan and Tabu, will also have major roles by Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobrial, Raai Lakshmi, and Makrand Deshpande. Bholaa, an Ajay Devgn-directed film is the official Hindi version of the blockbuster Tamil film Kaithi.

Zwigato

Release Date: March 17

The social drama Zwigato, starring comedian Kapil Sharma, is directed by Nandita Das. In the movie, a man who lost his job due to the pandemic struggles with the world of ratings and rewards while working as a food delivery rider. Both the 27th Busan International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival have previously screened the eagerly anticipated movie Zwigato.

Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway

Release Date: March 17

The Rani Mukherji-starring movie Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway is said to be an untold story about a mother's journey in her battle against an entire country. It is based on a true event that outraged children's rights and human rights worldwide.

Bheed

Release Date: March 24

Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar play the key characters in Anubhav Sinha's film Bheed. Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, and Ashutosh Rana are also featured. The movie takes place in India in 2020, during the COVID-19 shutdown.
