Bollywood has seen a huge increase in the trend of film remakes. Filmmakers have been remaking foreign and South American films. To obtain better ideas, people now also start to consume Korean stuff. But occasionally, even the best remakes have had disastrous box office failures. Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Aamir Khan, was a formal adaptation of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. Despite being an Oscar-winning remake, the Aamir Khan movie failed to win over moviegoers. In the end, it had a disappointing box office performance. However, a lengthy number of remakes, including Drishyam 2, Mili, and Shehzada, are in the works for Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and others. Drishyam 2

With Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan is prepared to fill Allu Arjun's footsteps. It is an authentic remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. One of the most profitable movies of 2020 was this one. For this one, Kartik and Kriti Sanon are back together. Kartik continues to tease followers on social media. He collaborated on a large-scale song with Ganesh Acharya, describing it as "very different from anything he has done before." On February 10, 2023, it will be launched.

The Intern

One of the most adored movies was The Intern, starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. A Bollywood remake is planned. Originally, Rishi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were slated to star in the movie. But when he suddenly passed away in 2020, Amitabh Bachchan took over. In addition to acting, Deepika will produce it. Watching DP and Big B do the same magic on screen as they did in Piku will be a visual pleasure.

Selfiee

Selfie film with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi The 2019 comedy-drama Driving License, directed by Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu, has an official Hindi version titled Selfiee. Raj Mehta is currently shooting the movie. In January of this year, the initial look was released. Fans of Akshay and Emraan were ecstatic by their partnership and the upbeat song. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty play significant parts as well.

The Hindi version of Anniyan

The acclaimed director Shankar will collaborate with Ranveer Singh on the remake of the hugely successful Anniyan film from 2005. Vikram, a South Indian actor, played the part perfectly. Ranveer appears ideal for the Hindi version based on his prior performances. The title has not yet been released by the creators.

Bholaa

For Bholaa, Ajay Devgn will once more be seen collaborating with Tabu. It is a remake of the Tamil film Kaithi by Karthik Sivakumar. Assault On Precinct 13 from 1976 served as an inspiration for the first movie. Ajay has not only acted in the movie but also directed it. According to reports, the plot centres on a former prisoner who tries to see his daughter. Release of Bholaa is scheduled for March 2023.

Mili

Recently,Janhvi Kapoor released its spooky trailer of Mili . For the first time, she has teamed up with her producer father, Boney Kapoor, for this. It is an official remake of the Malayalam movie Helen. The audience adored the trailer and is eagerly anticipating the official release. Manoj Pahwa and Sunny Kaushal also play significant parts in it. The movie will open in theatres on November 4th.
