‘Gadar 2’ stars Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel opposite Sunny Deol in her comeback to the big screen. She gained notoriety for her reported conflict with director Anil Sharma's production company before taking to Twitter to defend Simrat Kaur, another actress, whose "intimate scenes" went viral and offended viewers on social media.
For those who are unaware, Simrat Kaur will star in the movie alongside Utkarsh Sharma, a newcomer. On Twitter, a few "intimate scenes" starring Simrat from what appears to be the 2020 movie ‘Dirty Hari’ have surfaced, with some internet users believing they are from ‘Gadar 2’. Ameesha clarified that such statements were false. "These are not images from GADAR 2!!"
Ameesha tweeted in Simrat's defense as trolls persisted in criticizing her prior endeavors. “Spent the entire evening 2day defending the negativity surrounding Simrat Kaur who is paired opp Utkarsh Sharma in GADAR 2!! Being a girl I request all to only spread positivity n not shame a girl! Let's encourage new talent!!”

The official teaser for ‘Gadar 2’ was released last month. The movie, directed by Anil Sharma, will open in theaters on August 11 and stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma. Before posting the official teaser online, the movie's creators included it alongside ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, which had its theatrical re-release on June 9. The ‘Gadar 2’ teaser suggests that the story picks up immediately after ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
