Gumraah: Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s crime thriller drama gets title
Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur's upcoming film finally has an official title, Gumraah. The crime thriller stars Aditya in two very different roles for the first time. Mrunal, on the other hand, will portray a police officer.
This thriller will feature an intense clash between the two main characters. Mrunal has begun the second schedule in Mumbai with Aditya Roy Kapur and Ronit Roy will be joining the shoot soon.
Sidharth Malhotra had been cast in the lead role in the Hindi version of Thadam before Aditya Roy Kapur came onboard. But, due to unclear reasons, he opted out of the project.
Thadam (2019) is a Tamil film directed by Magizh Thirumeni that was released in March 2019. Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat, and Vidya Pradeep star in the film. The film's plot centers around the assassination of a young man. When the major suspect in the murder is discovered to have a look-alike, confusion erupts.
Gumraah is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and directed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar. Stay tuned for more updates!
