Heartwarming! Samantha's birthday wish for her Citadel co-star Varun Dhawan
Best wishes are pouring in for actor Varun Dhawan who turns 35 today. While many of Varun's co-stars (like Nargis Fakhri) took to social media to wish the heartthrob, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who stars opposite the actor in Citadel, has put up a heartwarming birthday wishes for Varun.
Taking to Instagram, Samantha posted a picture of Varun Dhawan from the sets of Bawaal (2023) and wrote- "Happy birthday Rockstar varundvn... Wishing you the bestest year. God bless." Apart from her, Tamannaah Bhatia also shared a post on social media, "Happy Birthday
Noteworthy, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will be sharing screen space for the first time in Citadel. The film is being helmed Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who recently wrapped up shoot of the webseries Guns & Gulaabs starring Dulquer Salmaan, Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav.
In other news, Samantha recently confirmed to star in a film with Vijay Deverakonda and director Shiva Nirvana- marking her second collaboration with both of them. The film was launched in Hyderabad on April 21 and is set in the Kashmir valley. It has been tentatively titled as VD11.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan has completed work on Raj Mehta's romantic comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo, produced by Karan Johar and co-starring Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh. He will also star in Dinesh Vijan's comic horror film Bhediya with Kriti Sanon.
