Here’s how Alia Bhatt reacted to the question of whether she is fit to work during pregnancy!
Alia Bhatt is one of the finest and most talented actresses that Bollywood has. And the actress has proved it again and again with her outstanding performances in films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Highway, Raazi, Gully Boy, Dear Zindagi, and many more. She is at the best phase in her life with back-to-back hit releases, and her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress had also announced her pregnancy with Ranbir Kapoor via her Instagram post which created a buzz on social media. Alia has recently spoken out about continuing to work while expecting her first child. She feels that because she is fit, she doesn't need to rest.
In a recent interview at her film Darlings song launch, she was asked about the strains of promoting the movie while expecting. To which she replied, “Agar aap fit ho, healthy ho, fine ho toh koi rest lene ki zarurat hai hi Nahi. Kaam Karna Mujhe sukoon deta hai, meri passion hai (If you’re fit and healthy, you don’t need to rest during pregnancy. Work gives me peace, acting is my passion)” “It keeps my heart, my soul, everything alive and charged. Toh main toh matlab 100 saal ki umar tak kaam karungi (I will work till I am 100 years old).”
Alia traveled to many locations to promote Darlings while also filming her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, after announcing her pregnancy. She also completed her shoot for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh. Netflix’s Darlings starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew will premiere on August 5. She also has Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The flick is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9.
