After delivering three back-to-back sterling performances in Bhoot Police (2021), A Thursday (2022), and Dasvi (2022), star performer Yami Gautam is gearing up for the release of her next film LOST.

Touted to be an emotional investigative drama, LOST is an Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directorial which centres on the underbelly of Kolkata and comments on media integrity. The film’s locations play a pivotal role in the narrative, so in order to capture the essence of West Bengal, the three-time National Award-Winning filmmaker shot most of his next in the lively streets of the city.

While cinematically, the hustle-bustle of Kolkata would look splendid on screen, we hear shooting the same was not an easy task for the team.

Spilling more beans, a source in the know tells a publication that how Yami Gautam came to the rescue of the team and made the shooting process a lot easier for everyone. “Fans would flock to the set locations to catch a glimpse of Yami Gautam. The lead actress boasts a massive fandom, and it would become a challenge to control the crowd. But it was Yami Gautam who would talk to them or click a picture with them to make her fans at ease and not disrupt the shooting. She made the entire process go smoothly,” divulges the source.

As per reports, Yami Gautam is set to play an author-backed role in LOST. The film also has Pankaj Kapoor, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpai, and Tushar Pandey on the primary cast.

LOST is produced by ZEE Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes, and Indrani Mukherjee.
