Hrithik Roshan reveals Saif Ali Khan's fierce 'Vikram' appearance
Hindi remake of the Tamil neo-noir film, Vikram Vedha is the ruling headlines lately. The movie starring Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Radhika Apte has already completed its two filming schedules. A few days back, Hrithik Roshan delighted his followers by sharing his first look from the film, on the occasion of his birthday. Recently, he caused a stir on the Internet again as he revealed Saif Ali Khan's avatar from the film as Vikram.
Taking to his social media handle, Hrithik shared a picture of Saif Ali Khan. In the picture, Saif can be seen donning a white t-shirt with denims, flaunting his well chiseled figure. The Race 2 (2013) actor was sporting a salt and pepper beard and a serious expression on his face. Sharing the post, Hrithik wrote the caption ,“ VIKRAM #vikramvedha. P.s : working with one of the finest actors and a colleague I have admired for years is going to be an experience I’m going to cherish. Can’t wait."
Based on the Indian meta-folktale Vikram aur Betaal, Vikram Vedha is already a cult classic. It is a criminal thriller with a neo-noir twist. The film portrays the narrative of a fierce cop who sets out to find and murder an equally strong mobster. R.Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi played lead roles in this original Tamil blockbuster. In the Hindi remake, Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Vikram whereas Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing Vedha.
Vikram Vedha will be Hrithik Roshan's second collaboration with Saif Ali Khan, following the 2002 film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum.
Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment are producing Vikram Vedha in conjunction with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production. Pushkar & Gayatri directed the film, which was produced by S. Sashikanth and Bhushan Kumar. Vikram Vedha will be released worldwide on September 30, 2022.
