Hrithik Roshan shows no interest in YRF’s spy universe with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
Rumours were rife lately that Hrithik Roshan was set to appear as Major Kabir Dhaliwal from War (2019) in Yash Raj Films’ much-anticipated film Pathan, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. However, a source in the know informs a publication that it is only Salman Khan who will appear in the action thriller as Tiger.
When asked if Roshan is making an appearance in Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi’s Tiger 3, the source said, “No, he isn’t. While Aditya Chopra has offered him the proposal of being a part of the spy universe, he has not got back yet. He was offered Pathan, he was offered Tiger 3 too. But there has not been a greenlight from Hrithik Roshan on either. As things stand today, the spy universe will be spearheaded by Salman Khan as Tiger with Shah Rukh Khan joining in as Pathan.”
The source added that Padukone and Kaif both will be part of the spy universe. “Yes, yes, definitely. Both Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone too will be part of this universe. While Katrina plays ISI agent Zoya, Deepika Padukone will be seen as a special agent in Pathan. As of now, it is Salman, Katrina, Shah Rukh and Deepika in the universe.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is presently busy with his next Vikram Vedha, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. He is also set to headline Siddharth Anand’s next directorial Fighter, alongside Deepika Padukone.
