Ibrahim Ali Khan to debut in Hridayam remake bankrolled by Karan Johar and Fox Star Studios?
As per reports, Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to follow the footsteps of sister Sara Ali Khan and make his Bollywood debut soon. Speculations are rife that Ibrahim will be launched by Karan Johar and Fox Star Studios in the Hindi remake of the 2021 Malayalam film Hridayam (which featured legendary south actor Mohanlal’s son Pranav Mohanlal).
“It is the best project for Ibrahim’s launch. For some time now, Karan is looking for a suitable launch film for Ibrahim. The character in Hridayam of a brash student maturing into marriage and fatherhood is just right for Ibrahim," a source close to the development told a leading entertainment portal.
Currently, Ibrahim Ali Khan is working as an assistant director in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
Notably, Ibrahim's sister Sara was also supposed to have been launched in a Dharma Productions' film. However, things couldn't materialise and the young actress later debuted in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath (2018), opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
While the news of Ibrahim's debut in Hridayam remake is yet to be made official, we wish the young lad all the very best; hoping that makes a place for himself and carries his illustrious family legacy forward.
