Janhvi Kapoor, the eldest daughter of late actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, is currently preparing for the premiere of the OTT comedy Good Luck Jerry, which also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Sushant Singh. Janhvi disclosed to the media recently that she brings the script for each of her films to Tirupati during one of her recent interviews, reminiscing about how her late mother, the late actor Sridevi, used to go to the Tirupati temple on her birthday.

When asked if she practises any rituals to keep luck on her side, Janhvi stated in a recent interview, “I take the script of each of my films to Tirupati. When she worked, mom used to visit the temple on her birthday every year. But, that stopped after her marriage. An inner voice told me to visit the temple on her birthday and I started going there on her birthdays. Now, the new year has also been added to that list.”

Sridevi was born on August 13th, 1963. Every year on this day, Janhvi posts adorable pictures to her Instagram profile in honour of her late mother. In her most recent appearance on season 7 of Koffee With Karan, Janhvi also addressed Sridevi and claimed she was still processing the loss.

Meanwhile Good Luck Jerry is set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on July 29. It's a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila (2018), which starred Nayanthara in the lead role.
