Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are the proud owners of the renowned production company known as Red Chillies Entertainment. According to the complaint, two unapproved ‘Jawan’ video snippets were posted online. Shah Rukh Khan appeared in a battle scene in one video and a dance number with the movie's lead actress, Nayanthara, in another.

The Delhi High Court expressed further concern regarding the movie, adding that such unlicensed distribution of films and images jeopardises the promotion and might also result in piracy when the movie is launched. Justice S. Shankar added that these videos reveal the actor's appearance and song before they are supposed to be revealed at a specific time.

Atlee Kumar is the director of the action-thriller movie ‘Jawan’. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi play the key roles in the movie in addition to Shah Rukh Khan. On 2 June 2023, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres.
