Jug Jugg Jeeyo first motion poster unveiled; Varun Dhawa, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Singh reunite as family
After whetting fans' interest for his highly anticipated family drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Karan Johar has finally shared a quirky first look at the multi-starrer. On Friday, the filmmaker uploaded a video on Instagram with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in a fiery clip. The much-awaited film will be released in theaters on June 24,2022.
The creators of the film tease a surprise family reunion in the video. As the video progresses, we witness Neetu, Anil, Kiara, and Varun laughing heartily and expressing their different emotions. Jug Jugg Jeeyo's quirky track can be heard in the background.
Sharing the clip on his Instagram, Karan Johar captioned, “It's a family reunion you can't miss - filled with surprises, emotions and a whole lot of drama! #JugJuggJeeyo coming to cinemas near you on 24th June!”
Kiara Adani and Varun Dhawan will collaborate together for the first time in this film. Jug Jugg Jeeyo launched in November of last year. Varun and Neetu's filming was delayed due to pandemic-related constraints and their COVID-19 diagnosis. In August this year, the cast and crew started filming after a six-month hiatus. The film, directed by Raj and produced by Dharma Productions, will follow the story of two couples spanning decades.
Maniesh Paul and YouTube star Prajakta Koli also star in the film.
After nearly seven years away from the big screen, legendary actress Neetu Kapoor will return to the silver screen with this film. In the 2013 film Besharam, she last appeared on screen alongside her late husband Rishi Kapoor and their son, Ranbir Kapoor.
