Kareena Kapoor had already advised Saif Ali Khan to not have a child at the age of 60, claiming he's had a child every decade
Kareena Kapoor has applauded her husband Saif Ali Khan for how he has raised and cared for his four children. From his first marriage to Amrita Singh, Saif has two children: Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. He has two sons with Kareena Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan, and Jehangir Ali Khan. She claims that Saif devotes time to all of his children.
Last year, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan invited Jehangir. The couple married in 2012, and Taimur was born in 2016. Sara (the oldest son) and Jehangir (the youngest) are 25 years apart in age. Kareena believes Saif's broad viewpoint contributed to his ability to be a good father to all of his children.
While talking to Vogue she said, “Saif has had a child every decade—in his twenties, thirties, forties, and now in his fifties. I’ve told him, in your sixties, that’s not happening. I think only a man as broad-minded as Saif could be a father of four children at very different stages. He gives his time to them all. And now, with Jeh, we are trying to balance it out. We’ve made a pact that when he’s shooting for a film, I will try not to work on one at the same time.”
Kareena also spoke about Tim and Saif’s relationship, “Tim likes people. If there are people at home, he wants to be a part of it. He’s also a mini Saif, wanting to be a rock star, listening to AC/DC and Steely Dan with his father. They have an incredible bond. Tim says, ‘Abba is my best friend.”
Kareena will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, a film starring Aamir Khan. She is also working on a series with Sujoy Ghosh based on The Devotion of Suspect X, as well as a project with Hansal Mehta. Saif's cast includes Adipurush and Vikram Vedha.
