The makers decided to launch the trailer in three cities; a grand launch in Mumbai, in Jalandhar, Punjab, will celebrate Lohri, and launch the trailer the next day in Kutch for the kite flying festival. Kartik and Kriti were warmly welcomed with lots of dhol, bhangra, and dance in Punjab on the occasion of Lohri and greeted with flowers.
