Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's first death anniversary is celebrated on Monday. Many Bollywood industry people reunited to remember the Bharat Ratna awardee on her first death anniversary. Raveena Tandon shares pictures from reuniting on Instagram. She was accompanied by Hema Malini, Asha Parekh and Kajol to remember Lata Mangeshkar on her first death anniversary on Monday.

Raveena Tandon has shared the pictures of their gathering and added the caption, "All about tonight! Legends in honour of Lata Mangeshkar ji, Asha Parekh ji, Hema ji." The picture has veteran actors Hema Malini and Asha Parekh seated while decked up in silk sarees. Hema Malini was a draped green and silk saree, and Asha Parekh looked lovely in a black saree. Kajol Mukherji was in a green silk kurta, and Raveena Tandon was in an ivory dress.

At the same time, Lata Mangeshkar's sister Usha Mangeshkar talked about her family, which is still struggling to come to terms with Lata Mangeshkar's death. Earlier, Usha Mangeshkar talked about her, "People are just coming home in her memory, remembering her. We are very sad even today. It's all beyond sadness."

Usha Mangeshkar and family were at the ground-breaking ceremony building a memorial in the name of the late singer Lata Mangeshkar at Haji Ali in Mumbai. The 'Bhoomi puja for the memorial was done by Usha Mangeshkar as the chief guest at the event. The memorial will be near Haji Ali chowk in the Tardeo area of Mumbai, closest to Peddar Road, where she used to live.

The memorial's shape will be the tree designed by Lekha Washington. She said, "It looks like trees are flying in clouds. The structure will be different and unique. The memorial will be completed in three months. I am really excited about it."

On Monday, Lata Mangeshkar's family requested the Maharashtra government to name Mumbai's coastal road, a major project underway to decongest traffic in the city, after her.
