Liger Poster Reveal: Vijay Deverakonda breaks the internet with his bold avatar
Heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the film Liger. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Dharma, the film stars Ananya Panday as the female lead. Vijay shared his new poster from the film and it has the internet on fire.
In the poster, Vijay is seen flaunting his chiseled naked body with just a bouquet of roses covering his modesty. The actor shared the poster along with a caption that read, “A Film that took my everything. As a performance, Mentally, and physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming Soon #LIGER." Fans of the actor are giddy with anticipation as they look forward to seeing him play a boxer in the film after seeing the movie's daring poster.
In the film, Vijay Deverakonda will portray a kickboxer with a speech impediment. The trailer, which was made public in December, told the tale of a Mumbai-street slumdog who rose to the top of the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sport. The movie also marks the debut of former great boxer Mike Tyson in Bollywood. He will only appear in the movie as a cameo, though.
Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
