Zayed Khan debuted with Chura Liya Hai Tumne (2003) after which he featured as the second lead in SRK-starrer Main Hoon Na (2005). After the massive success of the film, things were surely looking great for Sanjay Khan’s son.

However, Zayed’s choice of roles, which included a lot of multi-starrers, really couldn’t do much for his already flagging career. Gradually, he vanished from the screen altogether after the 2015 film Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene which also featured Rannvijay Singha and Tina Desae.

Later, in an interview, Zaid stated that he didn’t take his Bollywood career seriously which led to its demise.

All you have to do is reach out and perceive and it will be yours. I am finally taking my journey as an actor to the next level and quite honestly, I did miss it deeply. Currently looking forward to a second innings at films, Zayed revealed on social media that he will be next seen in director Mohit Shrivastav's upcoming film, produced by Aseem Merchant.

Sharing a philosophical approach towards his life journey so far, Khan says, "I am a very agnostic person. I believe in god. But I don't believe that religion is the answer to god. If you really want to change your destiny, you've got to first come to the sincere truth about what you're doing wrong and stop it. Or better yourself in some sort of way."

"I've had so many flaws in my life. I've had to rectify so many things about myself and it wasn't easy... Drinking, partying, and doing all of that nonsense... But it's part of growing up and you live and learn," adds the 41-year-old actor.

On being asked about future plans, the Mission Istanbul (2008) actor says, "I'm looking forward to the movie that we've finished. It's about 15 days away from completion. Also, to the several other ventures that I've been associated with for the last two years."

"I'm also looking forward to getting back in touch with acting and with people. I've given ample time to my family. I didn't want to miss the growing up years of my kids and I'm very happy with the way they've settled. Now, I'm back and I'm excited about the things that await me. Really looking forward to giving my fans a joy ride once again," Zayed concludes.
