Madhuri Dixit’s Mother Dies At Age Of 90; Actress And Husband Shriram Nene Shared The News Of Snehlata’s Demise; Know The Last Rites Details
Snehlata Dixit, the mother of Madhuri Dixit, passed away. 90 years old. According to reports, her last rituals would be conducted on Sunday in Mumbai. Around 3pm, Snehalata Dikshit's final rituals will be conducted in Worli's Vaikunth Dham.
Madhuri Dixit and Shriram Nene issued a joint statement, which India Today published, in which they stated: "Our beloved Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones."
Madhuri’s Post On Her Mother’s Birthday
Madhuri has written a touching letter for her mother's birthday in June 2022. She posted a lovely photo of her mum along with the following message: “Happy Birthday, Aai! They say a mother is a daughter’s best friend. They couldn’t be any more right. From everything that you’ve done for me, the lessons that you’ve taught have been the biggest gift for me from you. I wish you only good health & happiness.”
Madhuri And Her Mother Snehlata Worked Together In ‘Gulab Gang’
In 2013, Snehlata and Madhuri worked together in the movie ‘Gulab Gang.’ Anubhav Sinha, a filmmaker, had stated in an interview with IANS, “When we approached Madhuri to sing a song in the film, she happily agreed to do so. When she came for the recording, she came with her mom and we discovered her mom is a very good singer. So we asked her mom if she could sing a song. Eventually, we got both Madhuri and her mom to sing a song in the film.”
