The newlywed couple had hosted the wedding reception in Mumbai for their industry friends because their royal wedding was an intimate affair. The couple got married in a private ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer only with family and a few industry friends. Therefore they have hosted a reception for Sidharth's family in Delhi and for Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai. Many Bollywood celebs have attended it, from Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Disha Patani, Kriti Sanon, and Abhishek Bachchan.
