Mission Majnu: Sidharth Malhotra says, ‘Over the years I have learned and improved my performance & choice of films’

The actor is now very busy promoting his much-anticipated movie Mission Majnu, which is scheduled to premiere on Friday, January 20. The spy thriller-style movie is slated to receive a straight OTT release on Netflix.
Sidharth on how he evolved as an actor over the years
Sidharth Malhotra experiences conflicted emotions when thinking back on the last ten years. Both satisfied and insatiable, he wants more. It has been a gradual climb, full of learning and discovery, from starting out as a rank outsider who won Student of the Year (2012) to becoming one of the popular actors of today. While promoting his film, Sidharth spoke about his journey so far.
He said, “There was a great deal of fear and trepidation when I first started. I picked everything up on the job, knew how to proceed, and learned how to enhance my performance or film selection. I also discovered that it is the intention that counts. If you stay faithful to the genre and deliver the best script and performance possible, [it produces results].”
About Mission Majnu
In the film by director Shantanu Bagchi, Malhotra plays an RAW agent who goes undercover to the nation to learn more about their nuclear weapons plant. The film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan conflict.
