Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar celebrate their first Holi together as a married couple
For Mouni Roy, Holi 2022 will be extra memorable because she will be celebrating the festival of colours with her spouse Suraj Nambiar. This is their first Holi as a married couple. The pair hitched in Goa on 27th January, 2022.
Taking to Instagram, the Gold (2018) actress shared a series of photographs of the couple posing for the camera as they smeared coloured gulaal on one another. In the set of pictures, Mouni and Suraj showed off their colourful gulaal-covered hands to the camera. Mouni was even photographed applying colour on Suraj's cheeks and touching his feet while holding a dish of colours with her other hand. Both were dressed in white kurtas for their modest celebrations at home. Their pooch, with its fluffy white fur, joined them too. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, the TV actress captioned, "May your lives always be filled with colours of joy, love & laughter. HAPPPPPYYYYYYY HOLIIIIIIIIIIIII #ourfirst."
In January, Mouni and Suraj tied the knot in Goa, first in a Malayali ceremony, then in a Bengali ceremony. A haldi and mehendi ceremony were also part of the pre-wedding festivities.
Meawhile, on the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in the 2021 film Velle and Tiger Shroff’s Punjabi-English number Poori Gal Baat. She will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
