Mrunal Thakur denies having two college degrees; says she was kicked out of college
With her film and performance choices, Mrunal Thakur is slowly but steadily carving out a niche for herself in the industry. She made her Bollywood debut in Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 (2019) and has since starred in a number of flicks. The actress recently denied allegations that she earned two college degrees at the start of her acting career.
While studying mass communication at Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College), Mrunal landed her first acting role. The actress recently admitted that she became so involved in her work that she didn't finish her college degree. The Jersey (2022) actress expressed gratitude to the person who spread false information about her educational qualifications but clarified that she did not have a graduate degree because she was kicked out of college.
When asked about speculations that she graduated with two degrees, Mrunal revealed, "That is wrong. Whoever has written that or edited that to Wikipedia, I am quite thankful. But I do not have any degree. I was kicked out of college. I was detained from KC actually because I had attendance problems."
“I knew I wanted to face the camera, and the moment I got an opportunity I was like this is something I am never gonna miss for anything in the world. So I just grabbed it," added the 29-year-old actress.
On the work front, Mrunal will be next seen in Aankh Micholi and Pippa.
