Nagarjuna is getting ready to make a comeback in Bollywood. The actor, who has appeared in Hindi films such as Khuda Gawah (1992), Criminal (1995), and Zakhm (1998), is set to star in Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus Brahmastra. In Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, and SS Rajamouli unveiled a teaser of Brahmastra.
Nagarjuna delivered the team a video message during the event, expressing his experience working with the film's cast. After expressing his disappointment at not being able to attend the film's promotion in Vizag, Nagarjuna said in the video, “I am also eagerly waiting for the Brahmastra trailer to release because three years of hard work has gone into the film.”
The Manmadhudu (2002) actor also heaped praises on his co-star Ranbir Kapoor, calling him “one of the most talented actors”. Despite his fame, the actor claims that Ranbir is "the humblest person I have met."
He was quoted saying, “When it comes to his films, be it Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Wake Up Sid (2009) or Sanju (2018), it is unbelievable that the same person has played all these characters. I enjoyed every minute that I spent with him.”
Nagarjuna referred to Alia Bhatt as "a small firecracker." “The script she chooses, she lives it completely,” the actor said.
Brahmastra is slated to hit the theatres on September 9 this year.
